Note 1: The Transylvania Saxon pottery is mainly blue background and decorated with white line drawings, such as birds, flowers, geometric design, and the year of production.

Note 2. Habani / Habans were Anabaptist Potters who fled Moravia for religiouus reasons. They settled in Central Transylvania mostly in Vintu de Sus, near Turda. Their work could be recognized by the decorations with prcise lines and realistic animal and birds figures. While the "Haban" potters of 17c didn't have human figures in their design, today "Habans" use both human and animl / bird fugures for their pottery. The main market for thier pottery was Turda.
